Conscientiousness Studio has been providing college entrance examination (Gaokao) application guidance since 2014 and has analysed the admissions situation in Jilin for 10 consecutive years. Over these 10 years, the three teachers at Conscience Studio have provided one-on-one support to over 2,000 candidates and have personally witnessed the evolving landscape of college entrance examination application selection.
An institution’s social standing and educational philosophy; the nature, research directions, and training model of a program; a city’s economic situation, industrial layout, and development plans; the evolution of industries and the shifting popularity of specialized fields; and the diverse preferences and pursuits of candidates from different generations all of these require us to observe and judge from diverse perspectives to identify the most suitable path for a candidate’s future development.
As a counsellor, it’s not enough to simply have a basic understanding of the institution and program. It requires a broad perspective and multi-faceted understanding to offer students more options. We must also encourage and motivate students to bravely face challenges, cultivate a positive attitude toward life, and establish sound values! This is not only a reflection of a counsellor’s professionalism but also a commitment to their students.
